Correction - Toastmasters clubs have the option to start every meeting or event with the Pledge of Allegiance, but are not REQUIRED to do so. We are an International organization, so it isn't always appropriate or desired by the members.

That being said, there are few things as amazing as being in a group of 200+ Toastmasters at a TLI or Conference all reciting the Pledge of Allegiance together - it gives me chills! I can't wait to experience how they open the International Convention in August!

YAY! The blog is back!
Now, if I can just tie this, FaceBook, and Twitter all together...

Some numbers from the TLI - about 350 Toastmasters attended; over 300 officers trained! I attended Jim Key's session, among others - I'll need to make a post about it once my life slows down enough for me to do so.......
