Hello! Fans of the Club Big 'D'

It has been a while! I have been away from my desk and I bear good news for those of you following us on the WWW.

Last week we had our customary round of officer elections. Our secretary David Medart reports that our officers for the next term of 6 months have been duly elected and the list of these illustrious warriors reads as follows.

President—Steve Patterson, CC
Vice-President for Education—Linda Martin, CTM
Vice-President for Membership—Chase Miller
Vice-President for Public Relations, Mike Weibel, CTM, CL
Secretary—Gracie Amaya
Treasurer—Victoria Perez
Sergeant-at-Arms—Frank Kozel
 
This is the second consecutive term each for Steve, Linda, and Chase.  It is Mike's second time as VP-PR.

It is a long standing tradition of the club to install the officers and have a gala time. 
As is the norm our senior most member and food connoisseur John Sessions has picked a restaurant to host this special event on December 17th.

The location at the usual time of 6:30-8:30 pm is

CHIC From Barcelona, 11909 Preston Road,Suite #1426, Preston Forest Square, Dallas, TX  75230. 

The cost for each member and guest is $17 with the club paying the rest.

For the benefit of our prospective guests (and members) we will have no regular meetings on Dec. 24& 31.  Our next meeting will be on January 8th and we look forward to seeing you there.
