Watch Out ...

The theme was "Household Accidents."  Thank you Neetu for stepping up to the plate on short notice and serving as Toastmaster.  We also want to thank you for your clever use of visual aids ... your own finger ... to illustrate Household Accidents.

We had 4 guests; Pete, Rae, Daniel and David.

For two weeks in a row we welcomed a new member ... John Lawson joined our ranks last night.  John, we're glad you decided to join our club and look forward to your "Ice breaker."

John Sessions led us in Table Topics and as usual was both creative and entertaining.

Prepared speeches were given by Eric Dyson who advised us to not light ourselves on fire.  Ping Gui inspired us to "love what you do."  Adam Brewster touched our hearts with a wonderful story and pictures of his "Sweet Pea," Clara.  Finally, Angelo Pereira enlightened everyone with a report about land mines & the rodent heroes of Tanzania.

Mike Weibel was the General Evaluator.  Individual evaluators were Bryan Daigle evaluating Eric, Area Governor Ed Meissner evaluating Ping, Tingting Li evaluating Angelo, and Mac Smith evaluating Adam.

Awards were given to Renita Boykin for Best Table Topics, Eric for Best Speaker and Mac Smith was selected as Best Evaluator and as Toastmaster of the Evening!  A special award should have been given to Jim Wolf for "World Champion of the Ahh Horn."
